The Lantern Theater Company
Lantern Theater Company is committed to an authentic and intimate exploration of the human
spirit in our choice of classics, modern, and original works.

Old Academy Players
Old Academy Players was formed in 1923 as the Moment Musical Club by 19 members of the
Falls Methodist Church. Their first production was a musical called The Minister’s Wife’s New
Bonnet. It was a rousing success. The club decided to do more shows under their own
independent auspices, and gave theatrical productions; did charitable work and provided social
fellowship for its members.
The People's Light & Theatre Company
Now in our 33rd season, the People's Light & Theatre Company is a non-profit, professional
theatre founded in 1974 by Danny Fruchter, Meg Fruchter, Ken Marini, and Dick Keeler.

The Philadelphia Children's Theatre
The mission of Philadelphia Children's Theatre is to provide children of all backgrounds an
engaging theatre experience that challenges them to think creatively while inspiring them to
learn more about the world around them.

The Arden Theatre Company
Arden Theatre Company is dedicated to bringing to life the greatest stories by the greatest
storytellers of all time. We draw from any source that is inherently dramatic and theatrical –
fiction, nonfiction, poetry, music and drama. The Arden presents programs for the diverse
greater Philadelphia community that arouse, provoke, challenge, illuminate and inspire.

The Bushfire Theatre Company
Bushfire Theatre Company was founded in 1974 by a group of actors who felt that there should
be more opportunities for African-Americans in theatre and who wanted to work toward bringing
more quality theatre to the city.

The King of Prussia Players
Since 1956, the King of Prussia Players has existed to bring quality theatre productions to the
communities of King of Prussia, Pa., and the surrounding area. The community theatre group
strives to make theatre a rewarding and educational experience for all.
The Luna Theater Company
The Luna Theater Company is dedicated to presenting the Philadelphia area with
thought-provoking works by contemporary and classical playwrights. We seek to develop an
audience of open-minded theatergoers that cross cultural, ethnic and social lines by producing
drama that is intense, challenging, educational and entertaining.

The Merriam Theater
The Merriam Theater, located at 250 South Broad Street (Avenue of the Arts) in Philadelphia,
has played an integral and entertaining role in the city's cultural life. The theater, which has a
seating capacity of 1,870 was taken over in 1972 by the Pennsylvania Musical Academy, now the
University of the Arts.
The Philadelphia Theatre Company
For over 30 years, we have put the spotlight on established and emerging American
playwrights, emphasizing the rich tradition, unique perspective, and cultural diversity of the
American experience.
The Prince Music Theater
In March of 1999, under the new name Prince Music Theater, the company opened its new
home with stars from both Hollywood and Broadway. Named in honor of legendary Broadway
producer and director Hal Prince, the new theater has pushed forward the innovative and unique
American art form for which Mr. Prince has been so instrumental.
The Walnut Street Theatre Company
The mission of Walnut Street Theatre Company is to sustain the tradition of professional theatre
and contribute to its future viability and vitality.
The WIlma Theatre
Our theater is dedicated to presenting theater as an art form. The plays chosen for production
engage our audiences in an aesthetic and philosophical examination of the complexities of
contemporary life. We believe that a fine performance of a fantastic play is one of the most
rewarding and climactic experiences our culture can provide.
